Guarding a Notorious Lady

Title:Guarding a Notorious Lady
Publisher:HarperCollins
Imprint:Avon
Pub Date:05/31/2011
ISBN:9780061988400
A woman of pristine breeding, Lady Rosalind Devine is also an unrepentant meddler and snoop -- which is why her brother refuses to leave her to her own devices while on his wedding trip. But Rosalind will not make things easy for any unseen, unwanted "nursemaid" -- and vows to use her considerable wiles to expose her mystery guardian.

Nicholas Kincaid agreed to secretly guard his friend's spoiled, stubborn sister, but her infuriating penchant for mischief is causing him to question his decision. Though bound by the rules of society -- and friendship --Rosalind's spirit and sensuality have sparked a fierce desire in Nicholas to play a very different role in her life, one that promises passion, ecstasy . . . and unavoidable scandal.

This was a cute little read.
The story on a whole was rather fun to follow along. Poor Nicholas, the things he had to go through....Once Rosalind found out he found out he was her protector she made sure he was going to pay.
Rosalind as a character is strong willed, knows exactly whats she wants and in the same sense still naive!!!....I really liked her.
Nicholas was a Scot, which I like for the eye-candy idea of it, he had high moral standards and was very loyal......Very lovable!!!!
As the story progress you just fell in with what was coming next, it was like you were part of the story. Simple and sweet.
There was a lot going on in this story that you couldn't help get involved in this story. From the men calling with tons of flowers and gifts to the crazy bets as to who would marry Rosalind to the Stalker. Nicholas really did have his hands full, even without Rosalind's naive sense of security.
I really did love when Miss Polk showed up in London.....Rosalind's reaction was the best....LOL
So does it all work out??? Hmmmm?? Do I ever tell the endings here??
I would totally recommend this for a relaxing day by the beach or the pool.....or even on the blanket in the park.....
